Water
The Murray-West Industrial Park is also served by the Murray Municipal System. The Park has a 500,000 gallon elevated storage tank on site as well as 12” primary lines with fire hydrants and primary pressure of 40-60 psi. Water is supplied from a series of wells in the McNairy Formation Aquifer with a current capacity of 7mm GPD and average daily flow of 3.4mm GPD. Sewer
Sewer to the Murray-West Industrial Park is part of the Murray Municipal System. The site is served by an 8” gravity flow line. Currently the system has a total treatment capacity of 8.75mm GPD with excess capacity of 2.4mm GPD. For rates and additional information contact markmanning@hr888888.com
Broadband Internet
Broadband Internet to the Murray-West Industrial Park can be provided by a number of providers including Murray Electric (which has over 120 dark fibers available to the site), AT&T, and others. In addition, Murray has local companies available such as DEVSource which provides excellent Networking and IT consulting throughout the Region and beyond.
Electricity
Primary generation and distribution of electricity is provided by the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). TVA is a corporate agency of the United States that provides electricity for business customers and local distributors in parts of seven Southeastern States. Power is provided from a strong mix of sources including Hydro, Nuclear, Natural Gas and Coal. TVA is consistently among the most reliable providers in the nation and, with a mission of economic development, has very competitive rates along with tremendous incentives and support for business.
Distribution to the Murray-West Industrial Park is provided by West Kentucky Rural Electric (WKRECC). WKRECC has provided a dedicated circuit to the Industrial Park with two substations fed by two different TVA transmission lines thus providing an incredible redundancy factor to ensure reliable service. Natural Gas
Natural Gas is provided to the site via the City of Murray, Kentucky. The City of Murray is served by two transmission companies consisting of Texas Gas and ANR pipeline. Texas Gas has a 6” line with 500 psi while ANR is an 8” line with 400 psi. This allows the City to ensure consistent reliability of supply while allowing for better pricing from competition. The Murray – West Industrial Park is served by a 6” steel high pressure line reduce to a 4” steel line on site. Excess capacity at the 4” main is 219mm BTU.
